About the Role:
As a software developer at G2, you'll dive into exciting projects, harnessing your skills to solve complex challenges and support national defense. You'll be part of a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are at the forefront.
Responsibilities:
- Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large scale software systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development.
- Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle.
- Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting using effective communication and writing skills.
- This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development.
- Experience with software development for relational databases such as H2 DB.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities.
Location:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Diego, CA, where you'll work side by side with the team and our clients to achieve mission success. Being on-site allows us to deliver the hands-on support our clients rely on, fostering collaboration, innovation, and real-time problem-solving. Travel <15%.
