Job description
We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with strong experience in Creo and Pro Cable to support the design and development of electrical-mechanical hardware components used in elevator systems. This role involves 3D modeling, drawing generation, wiring diagram support, prototyping assistance, and collaboration with engineering teams on new and existing product designs., * Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings
- Support hardware and electrical-mechanical component design activities
- Work with Creo Parametric, Pro Cable, and E3 Zuken Wiring Diagrams
- Support engineering change notices (ECN/CN process)
- Assist with prototyping and 3D studies
- Resolve design and fitment issues
- Support system-level model updates
- Interpret engineering markups and convert them into design models
- Collaborate with engineers and internal teams on multiple deliverables
- Support design improvements focused on product robustness and cost reduction
Requirements
Do you have experience in GD&T?, * Experience with Creo 10 or higher
- Strong hands-on experience using Pro Cable
- Experience with E3 Zuken Wiring Diagrams
- Knowledge of component, subsystem, and system-level modeling
- Understanding of GD&T, tolerancing, welding symbols, and material specifications
- Experience with parametric design and modeling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting engineering and manufacturing environments
Additional Information
- This is a fully onsite position in Florence, SC
- Experience within aerospace, manufacturing, transportation, or regulated engineering environments is preferred
- Due to the nature of the projects and customer requirements, candidates should be eligible to support work on U.S. regulated programs and compliance-driven environments, * How many years of hands-on experience do you have with Creo Parametric, and which version have you used most recently?
- Can you describe your experience using Pro Cable and E3 Zuken Wiring Diagrams in hardware or electrical-mechanical design projects?
- Have you worked on component, assembly, or system-level 3D modeling projects within manufacturing, aerospace, elevator, or industrial environments?
- Are you comfortable working onsite in Florence, SC for a long-term contract opportunity?
- Will you require current or future employment sponsorship for this opportunity, or are you currently a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident able to support projects within regulated engineering and government-compliance environments?
