Job description

  • Design and implement foundational Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components including VPC architecture, load balancing, and security topologies.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate GCP infrastructure deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design modern data and analytics platforms utilizing BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and related tools.
  • Ensure environments are secure-by-default, enforce IAM policies, and embed governance into IaC patterns.
  • Produce comprehensive architecture documentation and facilitate design reviews with enterprise teams to align on best practices.

Our client, a leader in the technology and cloud infrastructure industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Architecture and Platform Engineering department supporting enterprise-scale projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization., * Hands-on experience designing GCP architecture, including networking, security, and multi-region topologies.

  • Proficiency in authoring, modularizing, and maintaining Terraform modules for cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics platforms such as BigQuery, Dataproc, and Dataflow.
  • Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance controls within cloud environments.
  • Experience with migrating on-prem workloads to GCP using standardized ingestion and transformation patterns.
