Job description
The Integration Architect for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar Platforms plays a critical role in modernizing and streamlining digital operations across the manufacturing, distribution, WMS, TMS and finance value chain. This role is responsible for designing and governing integration solutions that connect internal COTS, legacy applications, cloud applications, partners, VANs (Innovis, ARIBA Supplier Network etc.) and enterprise platforms.
The architect ensures stable, secure, and scalable integrations that support production efficiency, supply chain visibility, quality control, and operational excellence across global manufacturing operations., Architecture & Design
- Architect and design end-to-end integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud or similar platforms for manufacturing processes such as:
- Procure-to-Pay
- Order-to-Cash
- Plan-to-Produce
- Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Quality Management
- Record to Report
- Time and Expense
- Develop integration frameworks connecting applications for example
- MES systems
- Oracle EBS on OCI
- Oracle Cloud HCM
- Salesforce
- PLM systems
- Warehouse/Logistics systems (WMS/TMS)
- EDI/B2B networks for suppliers, distributors, and 3PLs.
- Establish architecture standards, reusable templates, and canonical data models aligned with manufacturing data flows.
- Create integration diagrams, data mappings, and solution designs with emphasis on high availability and production continuity.
Implementation & Delivery
- Lead implementation of integrations involving:
- Real-time shop-floor data capture
- Equipment integration and IoT event ingestion
- Supplier collaboration integrations (AS2, X12, EDIFACT)Product lifecycle updates between PLM
- ERP
- Inventory, production, and quality transactions
- Develop orchestrations, VBCS pages, and process automations supporting manufacturing workflows.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between cloud and on-prem systems using agents, VPN, or Oracle connectivity tools.Oversee performance testing, scalability planning, and deployment to minimize production downtime.
Governance & Best Practices
- Define integration governance covering:
- API strategy, versioning, and documentation
- Exception handling, monitoring, and alerting for high volume production data flows
- Secure connection to equipment, plants, and external partners
- Establish KPIs for integration stability impacting manufacturing operations (e.g., downtime, message throughput, EDI compliance).Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and OT/IT segregation requirements.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with manufacturing operations, supply chain, quality, engineering, finance, business partners and IT teams to understand integration needs.
- Provide architectural leadership to developers and analysts working on OIC and related middleware.Participate in vendor workshops, solution evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of integration architecture experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (preferable) and similar systems.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems (ERP, MES, PLM, QMS, WMS and FIN).
- Strong experience with:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- JSON, XML, XSLT, and data mapping
- B2B/EDI (AS2, X12, EDIFACT)
- OAuth, security policies, API Gateway
- Experience integrating Oracle ERP EBS in OCI with on-prem and other Oracle and non-Oracle Cloud systems.
- Deep understanding of Oracle EBS tech stack and technical back-end operations of Oracle EBS modules.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, AWS) and industrial connectivity models.
- Ability to collaborate with different IT and business verticals to drive projects home.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization to explain value propositions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Capability to operate and iterate in ambiguity and with imperfect information., * Oracle OIC and OCI Architect certification.
- Oracle EBS development experience.
- AI agent usage/development on Oracle Cloud
- Experience with IoT/IIoT platforms, integration patterns.
- Bank Integrations (ACH, Wire , Positive Pay etc.)
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.Experience with DevOps pipelines for integration code deployment.

The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $154,968 - $205,332.60. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.
