Job description

SuprTEK, a subsidiary of PCI Federal, is seeking candidates for an Information Assurance Specialist position on the Transportation Geospatial Information Systems (TGIS) contract. TGIS provides software development and support for USTRANSCOM and SDDC, headquartered at Scott Air Force Base near Belleville, IL. This position is hybrid and reports to the Program Manager., * The primary role is to provide services necessary to develop, maintain, and coordinate information system certification and accreditation packages via eMASS, working with program managers, system engineers and developers

  • Communicate complex concepts to mid and senior level management and technical personnel equally
  • Create, manage, and maintain information system security plans, policies, and other documentation and compliance as it applies to the NIST 800 series, the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DoD, and USTRANSCOM and component instructions and policies
  • Utilize automated vulnerability assessment tools/applications, such as Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Nessus, Fortify, as well as Security Readiness Review Scripts (SRRs) and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). and analyze findings to develop/direct mitigation efforts
  • Identify IS vulnerabilities and apply appropriate fix actions to mitigate.

Requirements

  • Must have and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years' experience in leading and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of new security technologies
  • 3-5 years' experience developing solutions to problems relating to improvement of information assurance effectiveness, work methods, and resources requirements, utilization, and controls
  • Security + or CISSP
  • Experience in eMASS and experience using USTRANSCOM or AMC COTS/GOTS products that will be required as part of this position.
  • Demonstrated experience using automated management information systems to perform fact finding, analytical, and advisory functions related to information assurance activities
  • Experience with RMF, DIACAP and/or NIST
  • Experience with Automated tools (ACAS, NESSUS, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills
  • Experienced use of Microsoft Office products or similar
  • The ability to work well in a team environment.
