Job description
We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Functional Lead with strong expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning and SAP S/4 HANA integration. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in supply chain planning, SAP IBP configuration, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and automotive industry processes including Vehicle Management System (VMS) and SAP SD/OTC modules.
The candidate will lead functional design, implementation, support, and optimization of SAP IBP solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architecture teams, BASIS, development, and AMS teams.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP application solutions
Design and implement scalable SAP IBP solutions integrated with SAP S/4 HANA
Configure and support SAP IBP modules including:
o Demand Planning
o Supply Planning
o Inventory Optimization
o S&OP
Work on SAP IBP, CI-DS, and S/4 integration for end-to-end supply chain planning
Monitor planning performance through SAP Control Tower
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution
Research production issues and implement system enhancements
Lead WRICEF functional design activities for Sales & Distribution
Collaborate with Architecture, BASIS, Functional, Security, and Development teams
Apply SAP OSS notes, patches, and release updates
Create Process Design and Functional Design documentation
Drive measurable improvements in:
o Forecast Accuracy
o Forecast Bias
o Inventory Turns
o Days of Supply
o Working Capital Optimization
Communicate complex business and technical solutions effectively
Work independently with minimal supervision and provide leadership guidance
Requirements
Primary Skills SAP IBP, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP SD, OTC, VMS, Vehicle Management System, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, S&OP, CI-DS, Automotive Industry, SAP Configuration, IDoc Processing, WRICEF, SAP ERP, Bachelor s Degree required
10+ years of SAP ERP implementation and support experience
10+ years of hands-on SAP IBP configuration experience
Strong expertise in:
o Demand Planning
o Supply Planning
o Inventory Planning
o S&OP
Strong SAP S/4 HANA integration experience
Experience preparing:
o Process Design Documents
o Functional Design Documents
Strong understanding of:
o IDoc configuration
o IDoc processing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage complex business and technical environments
Preferred Skills
Automotive industry experience
VMS (Vehicle Management System)
SAP SD/OTC expertise
Experience with:
o EWM
o FI/CO
o PTM
o MM
o OTC
o PTP
SAP S/4 HANA experience preferred
