Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Application Support Analyst to join our technology team. In this role, you will be the frontline for resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining the stability of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation across various platforms, enhancing user productivity and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence., * Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple operating systems including Windows and macOS.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to applications, operating systems, and computer hardware components promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Manage computer management tasks such as user account setup, permissions, and system configurations using tools like Zendesk, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira.
  • Support computer networking functions including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewall configurations, and general network troubleshooting.
  • Assist with desktop support activities such as installing, upgrading, and maintaining computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure components ensuring optimal performance; escalate complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with users by providing clear instructions, updates on issue resolution status, and follow-up support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on technical troubleshooting across multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN access, firewall management, and network security best practices.
  • Proficiency in managing computer hardware components and peripherals as well as software applications like Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira for incident tracking and resolution documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
  • Ability to perform software troubleshooting efficiently while maintaining a positive customer service attitude.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and operating system environments.
