The Business Intelligence team within Kids+ delivers critical insights that help stakeholders understand how children engage with our subscription service throughout their journey. We set audacious goals and are looking for people who can help us reach and exceed them. We are looking for an analytical, results-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused Business Intelligence Engineer to build critical data pipelines and analytics tools that will help teams make data-driven decisions to grow and improve the Kids+ subscription service., Own the design, development, and maintenance of datasets, ongoing metrics, analyses and dashboards that provide insights into subscriber behavior, engagement patterns, and content performance
- Develop queries and visualizations for standardized reporting around key subscription metrics including acquisition, retention, and engagement
- Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for stakeholders across Product, Content, Marketing, and Leadership teams
- Use analytical and statistical rigor to identify performance gaps and opportunities for optimization across the subscriber lifecycle
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent statistical and analytical abilities, business acumen and judgment, curiosity and strong technical skills. They are a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and be creative (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. To be successful in this role, you should have broad skills in database design, be comfortable dealing with large and complex subscription data sets, have experience building self-service dashboards and using visualization tools, while always applying analytical rigor to solve business problems., 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Working knowledge of Generative AI (LLMs, agentic AI, context engineering) and its application to data analytics, automation, or BI tooling
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Demonstrated experience building agentic AI workflows (e.g., multi-step automation, LLM-augmented pipelines) for data modeling, metric generation, or analytical reporting

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
