Job description

The Business Intelligence Analyst I creates reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision-making., * Produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions

  • Own the delivery of analytical requests, ensuring they are completed on-time and within scope
  • Write SQL to query a data warehouse in order to answer questions from a variety of business owners and stakeholders
  • Lead the development of automated dashboard solutions and reports that allow non-data savvy users to generate insights and answer questions in a self-service fashion
  • Develop and refine reporting framework showing the health of key performance metrics
  • Develop strategies to collect information on member demographics and segmentation
  • Identify sources of input data and acquire them from external sources when necessary (surveys, articles, physical documents, public databases, online forms)
  • Develop and maintain statistical and spreadsheet models for forecasting, scenario planning, and other predictive analysis
  • Analyze large amounts of data, summarize insights from analysis, and clearly communicate analytical findings in a cohesive story
  • Responsible for data inquiry from enterprise solutions such as Salesforce CRM; including Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Tableau CRM
  • Support A|B testing tasks with exploratory analysis, sample size calculations, and test analysis
  • Supports the department efforts to improve data mining
  • Works in close partnership with the team members from across the organization to gather requirements and develop analytic solutions to address business needs
  • Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

Requirements

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. At this time we are not able to consider applicants that require sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment visa status.*, * Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information science, finance required

  • Minimum two years financial or business analyst experience required
  • Knowledge of Financial Institutions and/or Credit Unions preferred

Essential Skills:

  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to distill complex data into easy to understand analysis with actionable recommendations
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well independently under minimal supervision and strong track record of setting and meeting delivery commitments

Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency with a complex use of Excel including pivot tables, various formulas and Macros
  • Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Experience with SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of data science programming languages (R, Python or other) a plus

The good faith range for this position is $65,250 - $78,250 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
