The Calibration Technician II supports aerospace manufacturing and testing operations by performing precise calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements., * Perform calibration and verification of measurement and test equipment (M&TE) using approved procedures, technical specifications, and documented standards.
- Document calibration results, adjustments, and traceability information in the calibration management system and maintain accurate certification records to maintain traceability of all calibrated equipment to recognized metrology standards (e.g., NIST or equivalent international standards).
- Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment issues, including out-of-tolerance conditions, performance concerns, and equipment requiring repair or replacement.
- Manage calibration schedules and maintain compliance, ensuring equipment is calibrated within required intervals and properly labeled and controlled.
- Support audits, continuous improvement, and procedural updates to align with AS9100, ISO 17025, and customer requirements., Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee's position and exposure. Below are typical PPE used on the production floor. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.

Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Pay:
SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the pay for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AMS 2750 or related aerospace calibration and heat-treat/temperature measurement specifications.
- Hands-on experience calibrating or verifying ovens, autoclaves, environmental chambers, thermocouples, pressure systems, or thermal instrumentation.
- Experience with computerized calibration management systems (CMMS) and data analysis software.
- Familiarity with durable goods manufacturing processes and quality management systems (QMS).
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a background in electronics repair and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education:
- Certificate from college or technical school.
- Related and equivalent experience may be used in lieu of the above requirement.
Experience:
- Preferred 5+ years' experience performing calibration or measurement system support in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, laboratory, or similar regulated environments.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of the above requirement.
