Job description
The DBS Information Analyst is responsible for maintaining the quality, security, and correctness of product data internally and data syndication externally. Internally, this is primarily between the ERP and the PIM. Externally, this includes GDSN data pool as well as the Shopify broker portal. The analyst is also responsible for representing DBS initiatives in the New Item Development CFT as well as enforcing compliance with industry standards (GS1).
The Analyst will also own the broker access and onboarding portion of the Shopify portal. This role must engage with stakeholders and users to develop and maintain functions and processes supporting system data transfers as well as to provide consumer, customer, and colleague support relating to those processes. This may include physical audits in the warehouse.
The Analyst must possess strong attention to detail and be committed to implementing the company's data strategy as it pertains to JDE (ERP), Shopify (portal), Salsify (PIM and GDSN). The role is further responsible for creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards that result in the highest level of reliable information.

- Own broker portal environment (onboarding, access, reports)
- Create/maintain items in PIM and sync to GDSN data pool.
- Manage customer subscriptions and item publications.
- Participate in cross-functional teams related to product development
- Ensure CFT/NID compliance with GS1 standards
- Understand ERP systems and the relationship of product data to EDI
- Maintain, update, create items in JDE Item Master and Salsify PIM
- Inform and advise on GTIN Allocation rules and packaging changes
- Understand business requirements and processes around New Item Development
- Responsible for Food Safety, as related to position.
Requirements
- Analytical mindset

- PIM/PXM experience strongly preferred
- GDSN Data Pool experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- EDI experience a plus
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, * Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
- Good PC skills and understanding of networked systems
