Job description
We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Cloud Native AI Security Engineer to help design, build, and scale next-generation cloud-native security platforms used to detect and respond to emerging AI-driven threats at enterprise scale.
This is a deeply technical engineering role focused on building high-performance distributed systems, scalable microservices, and secure cloud-native infrastructure capable of handling massive Real Time workloads across modern cloud environments.
You'll work alongside world-class engineering teams to deliver resilient, highly available services while driving best practices across security, automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Architect and build highly scalable cloud-native services capable of processing large-scale Real Time security workloads
- Design and develop microservices, reusable frameworks, and platform components used across multiple engineering teams
- Build secure, reliable, and performant distributed systems operating at enterprise scale
- Develop automated testing strategies focused on reliability, scalability, and security validation
- Integrate services across complex internal platforms, APIs, and distributed cloud environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues across cloud-native systems
- Drive continuous improvements across observability, monitoring, automation, and system resilience
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish cloud-native development and testing best practices
- Mentor engineers around secure coding, scalability, distributed systems, and operational excellence
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-grade platforms or products
- Strong background designing and deploying microservices in cloud-native environments
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance engineering, and cloud architectures
- Strong development experience in Go, Python, or Java
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration technologies
- Experience deploying and operating services on AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across complex distributed systems
- Experience with APIs and service communication technologies such as REST, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers
- Solid understanding of databases and caching technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redis
Nice to Have
- Experience building cybersecurity or threat detection platforms
- Exposure to AI/ML security challenges and AI-driven security tooling
- Experience with Kafka, Pulsar, Splunk, or Real Time streaming systems
- Golang expertise
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or internal developer platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot ecosystem or AI agent frameworks
- Experience building highly scalable cloud-native services on AWS
