Job description

Manhattan Door Corporation is seeking a senior-level manufacturing systems engineer to become the next-generation technical leader of our custom-built, Oracle-based ERP platform (NDS).

This is not a helpdesk role.

You will work directly with our Principal Systems Architect (20+ years developing the system) to own, support, and evolve the platform that drives daily production, sales, finance, reporting, and machine integrations across multiple shifts.

What You'll Own

  • Performance, reliability, and evolution of our Oracle-based ERP system (NDS)
  • Integration of new production machines and automation of plant workflows
  • Resolution of business-critical application and system issues
  • Hardware lifecycle and uptime for production environments
  • Development of internal tools and scripts (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
  • Cybersecurity, backups, and operational continuity
  • Long-term technical roadmap and modernization initiatives

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, or mission-critical business applications
  • Strong understanding of database-driven systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Experience supporting production or multi-shift manufacturing environments
  • Solid scripting ability and process-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working on-site in a plant environment
  • Ambition to step into long-term technical ownership

Benefits & conditions

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Direct impact on production uptime and operational performance
  • Mentorship under a senior architect with deep institutional knowledge
  • Clear path to ownership of a plant-critical system
  • Stable, growth-focused manufacturing company

If you want real responsibility, real technical depth, and a long-term leadership path - we want to speak with you.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
