Job description
Tyler Munis System Administration Administer, configure, and maintain all Tyler Munis ERP modules Manage system updates, patches, upgrades, and environment refreshes. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Tyler Technologies as needed. Maintain user roles, permissions, security settings, and workflow configurations. Oversee data integrity, system logs, and scheduled jobs. Technical Support & Maintenance Perform routine system health checks, database maintenance tasks, and application monitoring. Support integrations between Munis and other City systems (e.g., HRIS, financial systems, document management). Assist with report development using tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL, SSRS , or Munis reporting utilities. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for ERP systems. Document system configurations, procedures, and technical workflows. Customer Service & Functional Support Serve as a primary point of contact for HR, Payroll, Finance/Accounting Stakeholders using Munis. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for functional and technical issues. Train end users, develop user guides, and support onboarding for new staff. Collaborate with business units to analyze needs, improve processes, and implement system enhancements. Secondary Technical Skills (Preferred but Not Required) These skills are not mandatory but are highly valuable in supporting ERP ecosystem: SQL scripting and database query optimization API or flat-file integrations Basic PowerShell or automation scripting Experience with workflow automation tools Familiarity with ITIL service management practices Knowledge of financial, HR, payroll, or procurement business processes Experience with cloud-hosted Munis environments or hybrid infrastructure
Requirements
Three (3) years of hands-on experience administering, supporting, or maintaining Tyler Munis ERP systems . Strong understanding of Munis modules, system architecture, and administrative tools. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in a government environment. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in municipal or public-sector environments. Experience with Munis version upgrades or major module implementations. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for ERP systems. Project management or business analysis experience.
