Templating Technician (Countertops)

• Measure and create precise templates for custom countertops using Proliner equipment (both independently and alongside the Templating Manager)
• Assist with and perform cleanup and organization of raw measurement files before submission to the fabrication team
• Ensure all project details and documentation are accurate for fabrication
• Interact professionally with customers during templating appointments and help finalize project details
• Collaborate with the Templating Manager, fabrication team, and installers to ensure accurate measurements and project execution
• Troubleshoot fit or measurement issues in coordination with installers and the Templating Manager
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company well on job sites
• When not in the field, assist with operating and setting up automated machines in the warehouse
• Work closely with installers and warehouse staff to maintain organization and workflow
• Support general shop and field operations as needed

Granite Works Stone Design is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Templating Technician to join our team. This position will work closely with the Templating Manager while also independently measuring and creating precise templates for custom countertops. The role is responsible for ensuring all details are accurate for fabrication and requires a strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team., * Experience in templating or related field required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Ability to use Pro-liner templating equipment preferred (additional training can be provided).
• Experience installing countertops is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials as needed.
• Valid driver's license with minimal incidents in the last three years for travel to project sites.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift or move heavy materials when necessary.
• Willingness to work in various environments, both in the field and in the warehouse.
