Job description

  • Craft UX visions and strategies for the OTTAVA and MONARCH robotic systems
  • Lead the design definition for complex robotic experiences
  • Develop and maintain a design system that meets user interaction needs
  • Ensure high-quality designs including workflows and documentation based on user requirements
  • Refine product roadmap in collaboration with Marketing and project leaders
  • Partner with Software and Robotic Controls to enhance surgical operating room functionalities
  • Mentor junior UX designers within the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital/Visual Design, Industrial Design, or related field; higher degrees preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing digital experiences for sophisticated systems or medical devices (or 8 years with a Master's)
  • 4+ years leading teams of UX designers and participating in problem-solving
  • Experience influencing stakeholders without direct management
  • Proven track record in end-to-end product development with multiple launches
  • Expertise in designing embedded UIs across various mediums including touch, sound, and AR/VR
  • Strong proficiency with UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Suite)
