Sr Systems Analyst, SAP Finance & Controlling

Job Duties: Provide computer system analysis, guidance, and execution for the Business Transformation Office (BTO) while driving computer system transformation initiatives. Support the SAP computer system rollout for Varian's Finance, Accounting, and Controlling business functions. Assist cross functional BTO team as well as PMO team by providing the right input and work cohesively with project members. Provide SAP R2R, O2C and P2P related inputs & architecture discussion. Drive & deliver medium scale SAP transformations projects by connecting the end-to-end cycle & familiar with scoping, planning & latest agile Tools like JIRA. Manage stakeholders' expectations, timelines, and processes. Adheres to company policies and IT governance processes. These may include SOX procedures, FDA procedures, IT security and project management processes. Drive IT projects using systems implementation methodologies. * May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Special Requirements: Must have experience and/or academic training with each of the following:

1. SAP - General Ledger, Sales/Use Tax & Revenue Recognition
2. SAP Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, FSCM(Credit Management, Collections Management), Bank Integration(Electronic Bank Statement, Lockbox, Outgoing payments)
3. RAR tool Exposure to SD with Variant Configuration, PP and MM modules and their integration with SAP FICO Interact with project/delivery teams on regular basis to provide guidance to deliver channel and acquisition projects in timely manner
4. Experience in implementing solutions using Agile methodology.
5. ASC 606
6. SAP SD (Sales and Distribution),PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management) modules

Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Management, or a related fie (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, as Solution Specialist, IT SAP RAR Solution Architect, or a related occupation.
