Job description
- Manage WAN and Internet circuit activation, termination, changes, ISP escalations, and service-quality monitoring.
- Support office and manufacturing-site wired and wireless networks, including switching, routing, VLANs, ACLs, wireless APs, SSIDs, and authentication methods such as PSK and 802.1X.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues, standardize network device configurations, manage firmware/IOS upgrades, and maintain configuration backups and spare equipment.
- Server, Virtualization, and Core Infrastructure
- Install, expand, and replace physical servers and related hardware; perform firmware, BIOS, and management-controller updates.
- Monitor RAID, storage, power redundancy, CPU/RAM capacity, and overall server health; respond to incidents and coordinate maintenance or parts replacement.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including patching, hardening, service monitoring, event/log review, and permissions management.
- Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, Hyper-V hosts and clusters, virtualization storage, live migration, high availability, and performance monitoring.
- Manage NAS/file server shared folders, access control lists, backup policies, backup-job monitoring, retention, and encryption practices.
- Computer Room / Physical IT Infrastructure
- Support server-room infrastructure including racks, UPS, cooling, power distribution, environmental monitoring, and cabling organization.
- Inspect UPS battery condition and coordinate replacement as needed; maintain rack organization, labeling standards, and power-redundancy checks.
- Monitor temperature, humidity, leak detection, and smoke sensors, and organize or expand structured cabling as required.
- Database and Manufacturing Systems Support
- Support Microsoft SQL Server administration tasks such as account/role management, backup and recovery review, performance tuning, patch checks, and version management.
- Support MES-related operations in the manufacturing environment, including user access, master data, production orders, work instructions, reports, labels, interface issues, and traceability data such as LOT and serial-number records.
- Coordinate system changes and operational support activities with headquarters or central IT teams where applicable.
Requirements
- Strong overall understanding of IT infrastructure, including computers, networks, software, systems administration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to support both office and manufacturing-site IT environments in a hands-on manner.
- Experience with Windows-based desktop and server administration.
- Familiarity with network technologies such as switching, routing, VLANs, wireless, and firewall-related operations.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, backup operations, and general IT asset management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a practical, service-oriented work style.
- Bilingual in English and Korean, * 3+ years of relevant experience in IT support, infrastructure, or systems administration.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or semiconductor-related environment.
- Experience with Hyper-V virtualization and physical server environments.
- Exposure to endpoint security, firewall/IPS administration, and vulnerability response.
- Familiarity with MES systems and manufacturing process support.
- Experience working with overseas headquarters or centralized IT support teams.
