Job description
This position will support the day-to-day IT operations of BeOne Medicines Hopewell U.S manufacturing and Clinical R&D Center. They will support the delivery of technology services that support and improve business processes for the users. Leads service management, customer support, relationship management, and providing technical guidance. The candidate will be an instrumental part of the GTS team in implementing the vision and enhancing the Company's current systems, processes and infrastructure necessary to support future growth and expansion plans.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should bring experience working in infrastructure and support services including cloud/SaaS exposure and introducing new technologies and change in a dynamic environment. The candidate should have IT Operations and End User Services background in a pharma manufacturing environment.
This role is hybrid, must be on-site 3 days/week at our Hopewell, NJ facility
Essential Functions of the Job:
Technical & Operational Skills

Deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure , including:
-
Servers, endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices)
-
Network, voice/video, and wireless infrastructure
-
Backup, disaster recovery, and system security
-
Experience with cloud and SaaS solutions in regulated environments.

Ability to ensure system availability, performance, integrity, and security for GxP-impacting systems.

Strong understanding of manufacturing tools, processes, and integrated systems .
GxP & Compliance Expertise
-
Strong working knowledge of GxP regulations , including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP 5 ).

Hands-on experience partnering with Quality, Validation, and Business Process Owners to maintain a compliant GxP environment.

Experience participating in internal and external audits , including preparation of documentation, walkthroughs, and response to observations.

Familiarity with validated system lifecycle activities , including:

Change Control and Deviation Management
Security, Risk, and Compliance

Perform security audits, system backups and recovery of server and network infrastructure Ensure endpoint security standards are met, including patch compliance, device encryption, identity integration, data protection, and policy enforcement.

Support audit, regulatory, and policy requirements as they relate to workplace technology and mobile computing.

Balance user experience with security and risk management objectives.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, engineering or related field
Qualifications:
-
BA/BS Degree with 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with deep hands-on expertise in systems engineering, infrastructure, or IT operations.

5+ years of experience leading teams, providing technical direction, mentoring, and oversight within complex environments.

Demonstrated experience supporting GxP-regulated environments in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing organizations.

Proven ability to support manufacturing, laboratory, and/or clinical R&D operations through reliable and compliant IT services.
Additional Desirable Qualifications

Experience managing or contributing to validated IT change management processes.

Exposure to regulated laboratory or manufacturing software systems.

Familiarity with enterprise SDLC and change governance in both GxP and non-GxP systems
