Job description
Firewalls, Routers, Switches, cabling plant, and other supporting software and hardware. Assist in problem and change management, routine maintenance, planning, and process creation/management. Mentor and help lead more junior engineers on the team and manage projects as needed., * Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor network performance and implement necessary optimizations.
- Configure and manage network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Maintain network documentation and diagrams.
- Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth network operations.
- Participate in on-call rotation for network emergencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Advanced education or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, etc.). Proficiency in network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.). Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Possess strong project, task, and time management skills. Must maintain knowledge of current IT and healthcare trends.
Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience
Certification: Multiple CCNP (Route/Switch, Data Center, Security, etc.) ECNP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience
Certification: CCNP or ENCP or Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer or Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer

- Candidates must be with in 150-mile radius of the Toledo, Ohio office., Physical Demands: Must be able to move about facilities and between workstations. Must be able to occasionally move, lift, and/or carry medium weight objects and materials.
Salary Range: $57,200 - $139,256
