Job description

  • Design and build a clean, modern, and brand-aligned school website
  • Update and organize website content (programs, admissions, campus information)
  • Improve user experience (navigation, layout, and mobile responsiveness)
  • Collaborate with our team on branding, messaging, and visual direction
  • Provide ongoing updates and improvements as needed

Requirements

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Website Designer / Developer to build and enhance the official website for The Sundance School.

The Sundance School is an independent PreK-8 school focused on experiential learning through arts, movement, nature, and community. As we expand to our new Warren campus, we are looking to elevate our website to strengthen our brand identity and support admissions growth.

This role is ideal for individuals who can work independently and bring both design thinking and execution to life.

This role is ideal for candidates who are proficient in website development and management, with strong execution skills. High-performing individuals will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's media content, branding initiatives, and video production projects, with strong potential for long-term growth., * Proficiency in WordPress, Webflow, Wix, or similar platforms (at least one)

  • Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS for layout and styling adjustments
  • Strong sense of design, layout, and visual presentation
  • Ability to independently manage and execute a full website project
  • Prior experience with complete website projects (portfolio required)
  • Experience with school, education, or brand websites is a plus, * Strong sense of responsibility and clear communication
  • Ability to understand the goal of a website as both branding and admissions
  • Creative thinking with the ability to execute effectively
