Senior Cloud Data Engineer - SQL | Power BI

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior FinOps Engineer to help drive financial accountability and cost optimization across our cloud and on-prem infrastructure. In this role, you will blend cloud financial management, data engineering, analytics, and observability to improve efficiency, performance, and cost transparency across the organization. As a Senior FinOps Engineer in this role, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support FinOps reporting, forecasting, and automated insights.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations to track cloud and application usage, spend, and efficiency metrics.
• Analyze usage patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities, eliminate waste, and improve infrastructure performance.
• Support and enhance budgeting, forecasting, chargeback, and showback processes across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
• Partner with engineering, finance, and product teams to embed FinOps best practices into daily operations.

• Possess 5+ years experience in FinOps, Cloud Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Possess hands-on experience with AWS and Azure platforms and services.
• Proficient and possess demonstrated experience with SQL, Python and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Proficient experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with standard CI/CD development processes.
• Solid understanding of cloud cost management tools and optimization methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
