Job description

  • Perform authorized security testing on complex, large-scale, and critical applications to identify vulnerabilities early in the development cycle.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand security issues and facilitate effective mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with InfoSec teams to interpret security reports and communicate risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure proactive defense measures.
  • Utilize various security testing tools and techniques to evaluate application security comprehensively.

Requirements

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a dedicated Security Engineer/Tester to join their dynamic team. As a Security Engineer/Tester, you will be part of the Security Operations Department supporting the development and security teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization., * At least 3 years of experience in software development or testing within large-scale enterprise environments.

  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies, especially on software applications.
  • Deep understanding of web application technologies, protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), and browser behaviors.
  • Knowledge of application security domains such as authentication, authorization, identity management, and cryptography.
  • Experience with security testing tools like Fiddler, Burp Suite, static code analysis tools, and attack pattern frameworks (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, CWE).
