Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer

Robert Half is looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer who can take ownership of a client's CI/CD pipelines and cloud environment. This person will be hands-on in AWS (with some Azure exposure) and help drive better DevOps practices across the team. There's also a strong focus on mentoring-helping others level up in how they build, deploy, and operate in the cloud.

What you'll be doing

• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines to support faster, more reliable releases

• Managing and scaling AWS environments (Azure experience is a plus)

• Writing and maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.), What we're looking for

• U.S. Citizenship required

• 5+ years in a DevOps, Cloud, or similar engineering role

• Strong AWS experience (this is the primary environment)

• Some exposure to Azure is helpful but not required

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.)

• Background with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS)

• Comfortable scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)

• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security basics

Nice to have

• Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment

• Experience mentoring or leading DevOps initiatives

• Multi-cloud experience (AWS + Azure)

• Cloud certifications

• Preference for candidates who are local or open to being onsite as needed
