Job description
The Senior Information Technology (IT) Auditor will utilize best-in-class auditing, risk, technology, interpersonal and administrative skills to perform a variety of auditing, advisory and investigative projects. Will serve as a trusted advisor to the business and maintains the highest levels of professionalism and confidence. The Senior IT Auditor is responsible for supporting the Chief Audit Executive and the IT Audit Manager in examining, evaluating, and verifying the adequacy of internal controls in information technology systems, information security systems and PSH's IT infrastructure. As needed, the Senior IT Auditor will work with non-IT auditors on systemwide financial, operational, and regulatory audits. The Senior IT Auditor will be relied upon by department management as the face of Internal Audit and a subject matter expert in internal controls, Information technology and related frameworks. This position is also responsible for performing work in accordance with quality assurance and department guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, accounting, business administration, or related areas is required.
- Minimum Three (3) years of current IT auditing and/or information technology experience (application security and architecture, system administration, information security, data privacy, network architecture and security) required.
- Must have at least one (1) job related certification (CISA, CISSP, CISM etc.) or working towards successful completion of certification program (completion within one (1) year of hire).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Healthcare industry experience a plus
- Data analytics experience a plus
- Epic ERM experience
