Job description
Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Sr. Support Analyst reporting to the Infrastructure Manager in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for providing technical support and light system/ network administration in the Midland office. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
General Responsibilities
- Provides front-line PC, Network and Telephony support to users
- Administrative tasks (AD, GPO, file permissions etc.) with guidance as required
- Basic network troubleshooting skills (DNS, DHCP, traceroute, IP subnetting, VLAN, Ethernet)
- Understanding of end-user support for M365 platform and applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, OWA)
- Owns support of AV equipment in conference rooms
- Uses and maintains OS and application deployment services (SCCM)
- Maintains inventory and assists in establishing recommendations for equipment procurement
- Drives to complete work efforts in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Customer centric and positive attitude toward customer issues.
- Demonstrates a strong troubleshooting methodology
- Identifies, suggests, plans, implements and documents potential procedural improvements with guidance as required
- Follows and helps to develop repeatable procedures for successful deployment and administration of IT assets
- Collaborates with other IT team members
Requirements
- Knowledge of Windows Operating systems
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including laptops, printers, and cell phones
- Three (3) years' experience in IT or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Help Desk experience
