Job description
We have NodeJS developer with AWS , with Iris s direct client, its a Remote position, location of client is Princeton New Jersey or New York, We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with strong AWS expertise to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and cloud-based applications. You should be passionate about building high-performance systems, writing clean code, and leveraging AWS services to deliver robust solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
- Implement security and data protection best practices
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement processes
Requirements
- Strong experience with Node.js and frameworks (Express.js, NestJS, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
- EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway
- RDS/DynamoDB
- CloudWatch, IAM
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful API development
- Familiarity with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with Docker / containerization (nice to have)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
