Job description
As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on the Developer Websites team, you will be responsible for building and shipping the unified developer website experience across Tether Data products. This is a greenfield initiative focused on creating best-in-class documentation sites, API references, interactive guides, and developer onboarding flows that make our products accessible and delightful for external developers. You will work within a modern Javascript stack, translating design specs into polished, responsive interfaces while collaborating closely with the product/DX lead, designers, and content teams. Your work will directly shape how thousands of developers discover, learn, and integrate Tether's data products into their own applications. Responsibilities Frontend Development: Build and ship pages, components, and layouts using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS within a application. Backend Development: Build and ship RESTful apis used across developer portals, integrate custom services with different Tether departments. CMS Integration: Configure Payload CMS collections, custom fields, and access control for documentation and website content. UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces following the established design system. Content Architecture: Collaborate on information architecture and navigation patterns serving developer audiences across multiple products. Platform Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and telemetry solutions to ensure high availability and performance of the platform services. Performance and SEO: Optimize for Core Web Vitals and search engine visibility. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product/DX lead, designers, and engineers from different departments to ensure smooth delivery., Recruitment scams have become increasingly common. Requirements
3-5 years of experience in fullstack development. Strong proficiency with React 19 and the modern React ecosystem (Server Components, Suspense, hooks). Strong proficiency with TypeScript 5.x across frontend and backend. Strong proficiency with Tailwind CSS 4.x Experience with (App Router, server actions, ISR/SSG). Experience with Payload CMS 3.x - defining collections, custom fields, access control, and hooks. Experience with backend development and REST API design. Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively across time zones. Experience with MongoDB. Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows & tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar). Preferred: Experience building content-driven websites or developer-facing tools. Understanding of AI-readable content standards (llms.txt, structured data, semantic markup) for making websites discoverable by LLMs. Experience with shadcn/ui or Radix-based component libraries. Familiarity with MDX and interactive documentation patterns. Understanding of SEO best practices for technical content. Contributions to open-source projects or developer tooling.
