Job description

As a key member of the team, you will actively contribute to the verification and validation of our SoC's functionality and performance. And you will be responsible for:

  • the development of the FPGA verification platforms and the delivery of this platform to customers within the Design and Project teams (Verification, Validation, Software teams) and to external customers,
  • the Interface to Firmware and Software, Architecture, Design teams as well as End Users to understand Product Use Cases and requirements,
  • the FPGA strategy definition for the Design as a function of its Architecture, the expected Use Cases, the limitations of the technology and the schedule constraints,
  • the methodology development for handling on non-digital components within the FPGA (Analog blocks, Non Volatile memories, …),
  • the work with Design, Verification, Validation, Firmware and Software teams to debug and correct issues or identify work-arounds,
  • the development drive of external boards and interfaces when needed,
  • the regular report and updates of the Design and Platform to the customers,
  • the support of large numbers of distributed users using FPGA farm or other means.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Degree/Masters in Electronic and/or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of experience

  • Knowledge of the entire FPGA flow from RTL through partitioning and synthesis and generation of bitfiles for loading onto FPGA
  • Expertise in debugging of designs on FPGA, using external debuggers, special builds and other techniques
  • nderstanding of the architecture, elements and functionality of SoC's, including CPUs, DMA, MMU, PLL, memory and peripheral interfaces
  • Experience in development of FPGAs containing significant analog content is a bonus
  • Understanding of software development process for embedded CPUs and experience in developing and debugging software
  • Expertise in the use of EDA tools for FPGA synthesis
  • Experience with debug on designs pre- and post-silicon, in simulation and on the bench
