Job description

As an IT Systems Analyst, it will be your responsibility to maintain and improve central information systems, that facilitate and deliver timely data for decision making.

  • Provide 2nd line support for core systems (including Dynamics 365 Business Central), ensuring timely resolution and ownership of issues
  • Contribute to the delivery of ERP and IT projects, including requirements, testing, issue management, and reporting
  • Analyse business processes, identify improvements, and support the implementation of effective solutions
  • Build strong relationships with users, teams, and suppliers to ensure systems meet business needs
  • Use AI tools and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) to automate processes and improve efficiency
  • Maintain up-to-date system and business knowledge, supporting users and contributing to documentation and training
  • Support the rollout of the IT and Data Strategy and drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
  • Provide out-of-hours support as part of an on-call rota , ensuring continuity of service and timely resolution of critical issues

Requirements

To success in this role, you should have a 3 rd level qualification, or equivalent, in an IT-related field, along with a minimum 1 years' experience in the field or a related area.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365 Business Central)

  • Ability to analyse issues, problem-solve, and identify improvements

  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical users

  • Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) and emerging AI tools

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify process improvements

  • Proactive approach to resolving issues and reducing repeat problems

  • Team player with a proactive approach to learning and support

You will be expected to travel to our company sites, as and when required, therefore have a valid driving license and transport is essential along with business car insurance.

Desirable

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) and basic AI tool usage
  • Experience with SQL, reporting, or data analysis
  • Understanding of project delivery and working within project teams
  • Ability to deliver user training and produce clear documentation
  • Experience in process improvement or automation initiatives
