Full-Stack Product Engineer (AI Commerce)

• Build and own core backend services for our commerce infrastructure tools, including billing, workflows, and financial operations
• Build features that integrate AI into real-world product experiences
• Play a key role in software architecture design, including research, writing POCs for further refinement

How we hire

• Initial call with the founder (30 mins)
• Complete a take home exercise
• Task review and pair programming with a team member (1 hour)
• Meet with the product team for 2-way interview (30 mins)
• Offer stage (including reference checks)

• 5+ years experience building service-oriented software products end to end, ideally at early-stage startups
• A strong understanding of AI-based developer tools, methods and paradigms
• Generalist mindset with experience across the full stack
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability, and developer tooling
• Comfortable owning products and features end to end, and taking responsibility for performance and optimisation
• Strong communicator, able to distribute knowledge across the team effectively through documentation, talks, demos and presentations
