Job description

The IS Power Platform and SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, Dataverse and AI enabled capabilities., Design, develop and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, Dataverse, and AI enabled functionality.

  • The ongoing management and development of the SharePoint Online site portfolio, ensuring sites are secure, well structured, and aligned with business needs.
  • Work with business teams to understand current processes, gather user requirements, and make recommendations.
  • Support end user adoption through the creation and delivery of training to enable users to own and maintain their content.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and Microsoft platform developments. LocationThis role is based in Stockport, with a hybrid working arrangement that requires attendance at the Stockport office three days per week., We pride ourselves in working to the highest standards of both technical assurance and customer service. It's our job to support Royal Mail in being the best delivery company in the UK and that it is fit for delivering to 29 million addresses nationwide, six days a week. Through our core delivery pillars of Real Estate & Value Generation, Property Programmes & Projects, and Workplace Services, Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions plays a key role in keeping the mail moving.

Requirements

You need to possess the following skills and experience on your CV:

  • Minimum 2 years commercial experience with pro-code Power Platform development using Power Apps (essential), Power Automate (essential), Power Virtual Agents (desirable), Power Pages (desirable), Dataverse (desirable) and AI (desirable).
  • Experience with SharePoint Online platform (essential) and capabilities including SharePoint Framework, SPFx, Site designs and scripting (JavaScript, JQuery) (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, HTML, CSS and SQL.
  • Experience with data sources, connectors, APIs, and integrations within Power Platform.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Continuous improvement activity and contribute to improving ways of working.
