Job description

Are you an experienced data analyst who is looking to apply your skills in Adult Social Care and are you organised and able to support others whilst working in a busy environment managing competing demands? If so then the Market Intelligence Team would welcome your application. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst you can make a real difference to the Council's understanding of the independent care market in East Sussex by analysing and reporting on a wide range of data and information.

In this newly created role you will collate, interpret and disseminate a diverse range of complex data and information related to the independent sector and Supply Management activities, adding value and generating meaningful insight. You will also manage the time-critical monitoring of homecare call data, communicating and negotiating with providers to reconcile and improve accuracy of data, and supporting providers to encourage long-term behaviour change.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, * Have knowledge and experience of using Excel for data manipulation and analysis

  • Are able to identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Have excellent data visualisation and report building skills
  • Are able to communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear, concise and accurate manner
  • Are a supportive and positive team player
