Job description

We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications. The candidate should have strong experience with PowerBuilder, SQL databases, and software development methodologies., * Develop and maintain applications using PowerBuilder

  • Analyze business requirements and create technical solutions
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts
  • Troubleshoot bugs and resolve application issues
  • Maintain legacy systems and improve performance
  • Perform unit testing and system integration testing
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers
  • Create technical documentation and user manuals
  • Participate in code reviews and deployment activities
  • Support production systems and provide maintenance

Requirements

  • Strong experience with PowerBuilder
  • Knowledge of PowerScript and DataWindow
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases like Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with APIs, REST/SOAP services
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
