As a Systems Engineer II on our team, we will equip you with the opportunities and resources necessary to develop your expertise in the systems engineering lifecycle. This role will be part of a geographically distributed team responsible for systems and cybersecurity engineering tasks associated with our next-generation network, compute, and storage technologies, guiding products from a low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) to program-of-record accreditation and into factory production. No need to be an established subject matter expert, we are looking for talented individuals that love to solve problems and have a desire to grow and gain exposure to new skills. What YOU will do:

YOU will work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals and other internal/external stakeholders while executing model based systems engineering development activities for strategic programs.

YOU will participate in the systems development lifecycle, developing typical systems artifacts that include trade studies, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, ICD creation, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.

YOU will participate in Agile team ceremonies, Agile sprint reviews, user story refinement and end of sprint product demos.

Provide direct support to stakeholders by addressing technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction

Requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Experience in designing and developing distributed computing environments utilizing industry-standard protocols and communication standards, including general-purpose processing, switching, and local area networks (LANs).
- Experience in systems engineering to include capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, or deriving and tracing system and sub-system requirements.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and tools such as Magic Draw Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or similar resources using SysML.
- Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment and being part of highly integrated Agile teams working closely with multiple engineering development teams (SW, HW, Cyber, Sys).
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret clearance is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Current/Active US security clearance.
- Experience with MIL-STD hardened environments, ensuring compliance with military specifications for ruggedness, durability, and security.
- Recent and relevant experience with the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements capture, decomposition, system design, integration, verification, and validation.
- Demonstrated understanding of fundamental systems engineering deliverables, such as requirements specifications, interface control documents, and verification matrices.
- Experience defining system requirements and collaborating with software and hardware teams to ensure successful integration, performance, and alignment with overall system architecture.

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
