Job description

Execute manual projection testing for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Flash provided builds onto devices and perform validation testing

Identify, isolate, and document defects related to projection behavior

Debug system behavior across Android, Linux, and infotainment layers

Support pre-certification bug fixing efforts for projection technologies

Collaborate with developers and system engineers to troubleshoot issues

Read Python scripts as needed for debugging and validation (no heavy automation), This role is highly hands-on and manual-focused, supporting projection testing for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on AOSP-based infotainment platforms. Engineers will work directly with devices, flashing builds, validating functionality, and supporting pre-certification bug fixes. Automation experience is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

Hands-on projection testing experience (MUST) with Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto

Strong background in manual QA and validation (automation is not a focus)

Experience testing AOSP-based infotainment systems

Ability to flash builds onto devices and validate given software builds

Experience working in Linux and Android environments Ability to read and debug Python scripts

Experience using Wireshark for network or system-level debugging

Automotive infotainment or embedded systems experience
