Job description

  • Manage and maintain Unix/Linux servers across enterprise environments
  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Handle server patching, upgrades, and security compliance activities
  • Support application deployments and infrastructure operations
  • Create and maintain automation scripts for operational tasks
  • Work closely with application, network, and database teams
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
  • Maintain system documentation and operational procedures
  • Participate in on-call support and weekend maintenance activities

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Unix/Linux administration, troubleshooting, automation, monitoring, and production support in large-scale environments., * Strong experience in Unix/Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Solaris, Ubuntu)

  • Hands-on experience with Shell Scripting and automation
  • Experience in server installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
  • Knowledge of user administration, file systems, permissions, and security
  • Experience with process monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, NFS)
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Cron
  • Knowledge of VMware/Virtualization environments
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Splunk, AppDynamics, or Grafana
  • Experience supporting production and critical environments
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management, * 10+ years of Linux Administration experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Experience working in enterprise production support environments
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
