Job description
- Lead, support, and coach project teams to successfully deliver large, complex projects and/or programs spanning multiple business units
- Drive overall delivery execution, including management of resources, schedules, budgets, and quality controls across the full systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- Lead strategic initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and transformation programs to ensure timely and effective execution
- Manage and deliver projects using multiple methodologies, including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Demonstrate awareness and application of Agile practices such as user stories, automated testing, test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and related techniques
- Act as a trusted business partner, applying critical thinking to define practical solutions aligned with strategic objectives
- Understand business needs and the interdependencies between projects and programs to make decisions in the best interest of the organization
- Apply creative thinking and perform situational analysis to drive innovation and well-informed decision-making
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with executive sponsors, business owners, and stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure successful delivery
- Monitor project performance and recommend adjustments to schedules, costs, or resources as needed
- Provide timely and accurate project updates to management, including issue escalation, risk management, and status reporting
- Manage project change requests that impact scope, schedule, and budget
- Lead or coordinate project planning activities, including resource allocation, staffing, vendor/subcontractor management, progress tracking, troubleshooting, and team management
- Ensure project teams follow established processes and contribute to strengthening internal tools, artifacts, and governance standards
- Directly or indirectly manage and mentor team members, providing guidance on leadership, methodologies, tools, communication, and people-management skills
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Business Consulting, Program/Project Management, or PMO Strategy
- 3+ years of relevant project or program management experience
Benefits & conditions
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($65 to $70/hour). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate''s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
