Job description

  • Lead development and operation of AI platform components, scalable inference services, and AI applications.
  • Design, implement, and optimize AI model inference infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain production AI services, including RAG and autonomous agents.
  • Serve as technical lead for AI infrastructure initiatives.
  • Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security of AI platform components.
  • Requires expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Python, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Agentic AI, and LangChain.
  • Experience with high-performance computing, distributed systems, and vector databases is beneficial., * Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure for AI model inference at scale.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of production AI services and applications, including retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and autonomous agents.
  • Serve as technical lead for AI infrastructure initiatives, coordinating work across integrated teams.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support for assigned team members and act as team point of contact for contract administration.
  • Navigate ambiguity to define solutions for complex systems and establish new technical policies and governance frameworks.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and practices, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and security of AI platform components.
  • Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for AI services.

Requirements

  • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience: 12+ years
  • Total Compensation: $308k+ yearly, * Extensive experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems with deep expertise in systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud engineering in AWS and advanced proficiency with Kubernetes administration.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience implementing and scaling observability solutions (APM, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence organizational change, and develop technical policies and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, balancing hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities.
  • Desired skills include experience with AI inference serving technologies (vLLM, LiteLLM), agentic frameworks (LangChain), vector databases, embedding systems, high-performance computing, or distributed systems.
