Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a skilled FPGA Developer to design, implement, verify, and optimize high-performance digital hardware for a range of military applications. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in hardware description languages, a solid understanding of digital design theory, and hands-on experience with FPGA development tools and verification methodologies. You will support the application of cutting-edge commercial technologies-such as 5G communications, machine learning, and emerging wireless solutions-to operational military use cases, enabling advanced battle-management capabilities., The individual we seek will be self-motivated, proactive, goal-oriented to help us grow our services, become even better at what we do and will possess the following qualifications., * Software Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering
- Principal Software Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with at least 0 years of experience
- Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
- Proven experience in: I think there's something that I gotta tell you, * Existing Active In Scope Government Clearance
- M.S. or Ph.D. in a related field.
- Knowledge of machine-learning accelerator design.
- Hands-on board bring-up, PCB layout review, and timing closure on multi-die platforms.

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
