Senior Data Architect

The Data Architect role goes beyond traditional data architecture. This individual operates with a strong productoriented mindset, shaping scalable, trusted, and businessaligned data capabilities that enable AI, analytics, operational intelligence, and customerfacing digital solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering, analytics, and digital product teams to define enterprise data strategies across supply chain, transportation, commercial technology, and customer platforms. The focus is on architecture, strategy, and enablement, not handson engineering. This position is critical to enabling datadriven innovation across Sysco's digital ecosystem, including customer platforms, routing and transportation systems, merchandising analytics, and enterprise operational platforms.

*Experience implementing product-centric data ownership models and enterprise data product strategies. *Familiarity with DevOps/DataOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. *Experience with orchestration, transformation, and modeling frameworks such as Airflow and dbt. *Experience supporting streaming and real-time operational architectures using Kafka, Pub/Sub, Spark, or Flink. *Background supporting large-scale operational, logistics, retail, distribution, or supply chain environments preferred.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95.00 - $120.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
