Job description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join their client in Norwood, OH. In this role, you will work with a modest IT team to support daily Network and Cybersecurity operations., Set up and maintain network infrastructure, servers, hardware, and operating systems

  • Monitor network traffic, performance, and logs

  • Diagnoses and resolves connectivity problems for end-users and network equipment

  • Perform regular backups, apply updates, manage data recovery and provide technical support to staff

  • Protect networks firewalls, VPNs, APNs, security audits, and manages user permissions

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

The office consists of 44 members, that will require deskside support, and local remote support around the office. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience with Firewalls, VPN's, APN's and robust cybersecurity systems., * Experience with FortiGate Firewall systems.

  • Either the Cisco Certified Network Associate or the CompTIA Network certifications.
  • Microsoft Windows Server Administrator Certification
  • Experience with VPN's and APN's
  • 3+ years of Professional experience as a Network Admin/Engineer - Experience within local, state, or federal work environments
  • Basic understanding of the Structured Query Language
