Job description
We're looking for a Linux systems administrator to provide system administration and sof tware support for field exploitation systems and lab environments. You'll perform Linux system setup and management for physical and virtual operating systems to include provisioning, configuration, patching and update management, and platform securing and hardening. Additionally, you'll develop technical documentation such as system administration architecture diagrams, configurations, baselines, and SOPs. You'll coordinate with develop ers to define operational system security requirements, develop System Security Plans and security documentation, and coordinate system security accreditation and authorizations.

Requirements
- Experience with Linux
- Experience provisioning, configuring, patching, securing, hardening, and managing systems
- Experience working with VMWare
- Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible
- Experience with containerization
- Experience with Kickstart or PXE
- Experience develop ing and implementing system configuration scripts
- Knowledge of IPv4 Networking
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Technology and 10+ years of experience with systems administration, or 15+ years of experience with systems administration in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
