Application Integration Architect

• Partner with tech leads to design integration patterns for Third-Party SaaS platforms, internal systems, and external partners.
• Develop end-to-end solution proposals covering functional design, data flows, security, and operational requirements.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, interface catalogs, and technical specifications.
• Conduct Buy-versus-Build analyses comparing architecture fit, cost factors, implementation effort, and long-term maintainability.
• Assess Third-Party SaaS platform capabilities against business needs and integration requirements.
• Map technical features of existing and proposed Third-Party SaaS solutions to domain use cases.
• Review vendor roadmaps and highlight risks or gaps relevant to compliance-sensitive processes.
• Provide architectural oversight for configuration, customization, and data extraction strategies.
• Demonstrate ability to work with enterprise architecture team and contribute to developing the target state.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to organizational architecture standards, patterns, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Perform occasional code reviews and provide guidance on coding best practices.
• Act as a thought leader in identifying and developing new standard patterns, solution building blocks, and best practices to enable efficient solution design and delivery.
• Maintain end-to-end domain-level architecture landscape views (logical, security, and deployment diagrams) for current and target states.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years in software engineering, 4+ years in solution architecture for enterprise systems.
• Proven record designing end-to-end solutions across Third-Party SaaS apps, custom apps, and integrations.
• Strong at translating business goals into target state and incremental roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience integrating Third-Party SaaS platforms using REST, webhooks, GraphQL, and event streaming (eg, Kafka).
• Familiarity with iPaaS/ESB tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, and Azure Integration Services.
• Experience with API management, versioning, throttling, and monetization where applicable.
• Depth in at least one major cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including networking, identity, storage, and managed services.
• Identity and access management expertise (SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC; RBAC/ABAC).
• Compliance-aware design for regulated data (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Governance participation: ADRs, architecture reviews, risk assessments, threat modeling (STRIDE).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
