The Senior Manager, Engineering Assets & Governance - CIS leads the strategy, governance, and evolution of standardized, reusable engineering assets that enable scalable, high-quality Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure Services solutions.
This role focuses on building and governing reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and patterns that drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across global engagements. The Director partners successfully with engineering, architecture, delivery, and business leaders to ensure assets are adopted, governed, and continuously evolved to align with Microsoft technologies and client needs.
Your Role
- Own the strategy and roadmap for standardized engineering assets across CIS.
- Define and govern engineering standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns
- Act as design authority for asset lifecycle management, from creation through adoption and evolution.
- Drive industrialization, reuse, and platform-led execution across global teams.
- Enable adoption of assets through clear guidance, standards, and governance.
- Ensure alignment with Microsoft platforms, best practices, and technology evolution.
- Measure asset effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.
- Influence senior stakeholders on the value of standardization and reuse.
Requirements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated experience engaging with clients and senior stakeholders to build alignment, support decision-making, and drive adoption of standards and solutions. Effective facilitation, influencing, and relationship-building skills across diverse, global, and cross-functional teams in a consulting environment., * 12+ years of experience in engineering, architecture, platform, or infrastructure leadership roles.
- Proven experience effectively defining and governing reusable engineering assets or standards.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure technologies.
- Experience operating in design authority, standards, or governance roles.
- Ability to positively influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption at scale.
- Strong experience in large-scale or global Cloud & Infrastructure Services environments.
- Background in industrialization, platform engineering, or engineering enablement.
- Exposure automation, infrastructure-as-code, or DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
- Demonstrable experience working within Microsoft-centric solution ecosystems.
Benefits & conditions
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $94,248 - $215,050.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
