Job Summary: The Application Engineer II plays a critical role in bridging the gap between customer needs and technical solutions by designing, developing, and implementing software applications tailored to client requirements. This position involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and development to ensure that applications meet both functional and performance standards. The engineer will be responsible for optimizing application performance, and providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, the role requires staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance product offerings. Ultimately, the Application Engineer II contributes to customer satisfaction and business growth by delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions within the Southern Arizona market., * Resident expert on emerging technologies in software.
- Responsible for the enhancement of current applications/software and deployments.
- Utilizing Kode and Forge on a daily basis to enhance customer experiences.
- Field verifying software deployment and setting expectations.
- Help maintain software standards
- Contribute to business growth through software solutions.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and development to ensure that applications meet both functional and performance standards.
- Contributes to customer satisfaction and business growth by delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions within the Southern AZ market.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Cross-functional communication?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of building automation systems (BAS) controls experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to verify software deployments, maintaining software standards, and contributing to business growth through software solutions., * Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in customer-facing roles or technical consulting.
- Certifications related to software development or cloud technologies.

- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers
- Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment
- Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet).
