Job description
We are seeking a Systems Analyst with strong Salesforce expertise to operate at the intersection of business and technology. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on translating complex stakeholder needs into scalable, high-impact Salesforce solutions. In this role, you'll contribute across requirements gathering, configuration, integration support, and light development within an Agile environment. You'll support a complex, global Salesforce instance serving 30+ countries, with a focus on reducing technical debt and optimizing performance. You'll primarily support global marketing stakeholders while also influencing broader business functions through integrations with regional teams, enterprise systems (including SAP), and eCommerce platforms. What You'll Do
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements, including user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Design and configure Salesforce solutions, leveraging Flow Builder, automation tools, and object model design
- Support system integrations, including source-to-target mapping, API interactions (REST/SOAP), and data flow analysis
- Collaborate within an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery cycles
- Translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language across cross-functional teams
- Assist with platform optimization efforts, helping streamline a complex global Salesforce instance
- Provide support for UAT, defect triage, and QA-related activities
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Proficiency with:
- Flow Builder and process automation
- Salesforce data model and configuration (objects, fields, relationships)
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of systems integration concepts, including APIs and data flows
- Experience using Agile tools such as Jira
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
- Relevant Salesforce certification (e.g., Admin, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst, or Developer I)
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to one or more of the following:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, Data Cloud, or Loyalty Management
- Working knowledge of Apex and SOQL (junior-level development experience)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Git-based workflows
- Experience with Confluence for documentation and collaboration
- Background in a regulated industry (e.g., life sciences, healthcare) with an understanding of compliance and data privacy
- Experience integrating with SAP or marketing automation platforms
- Experience supporting UAT and defect management processes

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
