Job description

Requirements

a. Security Clearance: obtain and maintain TS with SCI eligibility.

b. Certification & Training, Baseline, day 1: Any one of the following certifications: CEH, CySA+, CCNA Cyber Ops, GCIA, GCIH

c. Certification & Training, CE, day 1: none.

d. Certification & Training, CE, within 6 months: CISA or GSNA or CySA+ or cyber/information/network security advanced degrees (additional training, certifications, and/or years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a degree); and complete training for HBSS 201 & 501 or equivalent.

e. Experience: at least two (2) years' experience with Cyber Security CS disciplines within the DoD and/or other agencies within the United States Government.

f. Proficiencies: advanced IT administrator skills in remote administration, remote desktop; working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies; working knowledge of the DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives; must be familiar with the requirements outlined in the most current Evaluator Scoring Metric (ESM).

g. Key tasks: provide Computer Network Defense (CND) support to ensure products, systems, and

services comply with all appropriate IA & CSSP policies/procedures, network defense requirements and best practices as prescribed by the Office of the Directory of National Intelligence (ODNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), the CSSP TIER-II, and local authorities. h. Be computer literate with emphasis on proficiency with MS Office products (i.e.; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams)., Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.

Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment in excess of 40lbs in and out of classrooms and labs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings. In the event range training is required for early/late/weekend instruction or range operations, the anticipated hours shall be shifted from the weekday work.
