Job description
The Infrastructure Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure platforms across both IT and OT environments. This role ensures the stability, security, and automation of virtualized and physical systems supporting business-critical and industrial workloads. The individual brings strong expertise in VMware virtualization, Windows and Linux server administration, and infrastructure automation, with the ability to operate effectively in environments where IT systems intersect with Operational Technology (OT)., * Administer and support VMware environments, including modern software-defined and private cloud platforms (e.g., VMware Cloud Foundation).
- Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including patching, performance tuning, hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and operational stability.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible to standardize deployments, reduce manual effort, and improve reliability.
- Support and integrate systems across IT and OT environments, ensuring alignment with security, availability, and operational requirements.
- Work closely with security, network, and application teams to ensure infrastructure meets enterprise and industrial standards.
- Monitor system health, capacity, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation, operational runbooks, and configuration standards.
Requirements

Years of experience required for each skill? 5+years Nice to have skills: 1- Ansible 2- RedHat, * Strong hands-on experience with VMware virtualization (including clusters, storage, networking, and lifecycle management).

Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration.

Solid experience with Red Hat Linux in enterprise environments.

Proven experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.

Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and the unique requirements of industrial systems.
