Job description
The Front-End Web & CMS Specialist is responsible for hands-on, daily front-end development and deployment within Content Management System (CMS) platforms for Motorola Solutions websites. This role involves configuring, structuring, and maintaining web page components and templates. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to detail, demonstrated proficiency in CMS architecture and interface technologies, and the ability to ensure all deployed web elements conform to our technical specifications, accessibility standards, and brand design system., * Implementing and deploying new pages and digital experiences across web platforms using CMS tools and structured markup.
- Ensuring the technical accuracy, responsiveness, and performance of all front-end builds, adhering to SEO best practices and web standards.
- Collaborating with design, content, and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective, well-structured web implementations.
- Managing and integrating digital assets within the CMS and technical repositories.
- Conducting rigorous cross-browser and device QA and validation of page builds prior to launch.
- Utilizing web analytics tools to monitor page performance metrics and identify technical areas for optimization.
- Maintaining the integrity and organization of the front-end asset library and site structure.
Requirements
- 1+ years preferred experience working in a content management system, such as AEM, WordPress, Shopify, Contentful, HubSpot, and/or Craft
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in front-end core technologies, including HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of web content principles and best practices such as Content structure, SEO fundamentals, web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console), and page speed, * Bachelor's Degree and 6+ months of experience OR 1+ years of experience working in content management systems or related field
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
